Raiding The Vault -- Part II: "The Triumph Of Bullshit"

Here's another look back at an early piece which probably wouldn't have been welcome at the blog where I was spending most of my time at the time.

It was January of 2005 and George Bush had just pulled off "an upset" in the strangest mock-election America had ever witnessed.

When it came time for the electoral college to be recognized, Congressmen John Conyers objected, and he received the support of a few others in the House.

But -- shades of January, 2001 -- there could be no challenge unless he found an ally in the Senate.
