Dems Cave Again -- Meet The New Boss...

Big surprise! The filibuster requested by Webster Tarpley didn't happen. And Robert Gates has been confirmed as the new Secretary of Attack.

As the BBC tells the story,
"Our course over the next year or two will determine whether the American and Iraqi people and the next president of the US will face a slowly but steadily improving situation in Iraq or... the very real risk and possible reality of a regional conflagration," he said.
Most of the world's "respectable" media don't dare call his new job by its real name.

Nor do they mention that the "possible reality of a regional conflagration" is the goal, while "a slowly but steadily improving situation in Iraq" is merely the cover story.

Which is why we have bloggers.
