They're Dropping Like Flies!

Two more resignations announced today: are the rats deserting a sinking ship? Or are they jus' gettin' out while the gettin's good?

CNN: Ex-aide to Rove resigns amid U.S. attorney flap
The former White House aide whose appointment to a U.S. attorney's post helped fuel the furor over the forced resignations of eight federal prosecutors will resign Friday, according to a news release.

Tim Griffin, 38, said in a Thursday statement that he is leaving his position as interim U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Arkansas to pursue opportunities in the private sector.
NYT: Top Bush Aide Is Leaving the White House
Dan Bartlett, counselor to President Bush and his longest-serving aide, is leaving the administration to spend more time with his family, the White House announced today.

Mr. Bartlett, who turns 36 today, has been with Mr. Bush for 14 years.
So that's two already, just today. One's looking for more lucrative opportunities in the private sector; the other's looking to spend more time with his family. How touching.

The Kuwait Times has been watching 'em drop, and compiling a list. And as Gandhi says, it's a long one!
